Founder and President

Taylor Rowan oversees the big-picture vision and strategic direction of the company, ensuring continuous innovation and excellence in firefighter training equipment. He works closely with firefighters and first responders to develop new solutions that enhance training effectiveness, safety, and realism. By collaborating directly with those on the front lines, Taylor helps drive innovation while refining processes to improve functionality and durability.

Emily Ridnour

Operations Manager

Emily manages overall company operations, ensuring business efficiency through effective oversight of daily operations, budgets, procurement, and resource allocation. She supervises department heads, drives productivity, monitors KPIs, and ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Additionally, she oversees all projects from start to finish, streamlines processes, optimizes financial performance, and maintains strong customer communication and support.

Sylvia Light

Sales and Rentals Manager


Sylvia manages the container sales and rentals division. She handles container purchasing, logistics for pickup and delivery, and customer quotes for sales and rentals. She oversees the accounts receivable, conducts container inspections, and maintains container inventory. Additionally, she responds to phone and email inquiries, addresses customer questions, and provides exceptional support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Chase Petri

Quality Control Manager

Chase oversees all aspects of quality control and production within the fabrication shop, ensuring that materials, components, and finished products meet strict quality standards and tolerances. He manages production workflows, monitors manufacturing processes, and implements quality assurance procedures to maintain efficiency and accuracy. Chase inspects fabricated parts, identifies defects, and coordinates corrective actions to uphold product integrity.

Nolan Beal

Project Engineer

Nolan drafts and refines detailed technical drawings and blueprints for fabrication projects, ensuring precision and manufacturability. He collaborates with design and engineering teams to review and optimize designs for structural integrity, efficiency, and compliance with specifications. Additionally, Nolan programs equipment such as CNC machines and laser cutters, translating designs into actionable production steps.

Justin Capaul

Fire Training and Prop Specialist

Justin Capaul, a 4th-generation firefighter with 24 years of experience, serves as a Battalion Chief with Kootenai County Fire & Rescue. He utilizes training props to create realistic fire scenarios, enhancing hands-on training. He provides feedback, recommends design improvements, and advises departments on optimizing prop usage. Additionally, he develops and instructs training programs, demonstrating Taylor’d props and guiding departments in effective drill simulations.

Steven Jones

Fire Training and Prop Specialist

Steve Jones, a Captain/Paramedic with the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department and EMS Officer, has 23 years of service. He is an Idaho State Instructor specializing in Engine Company Operations, Truck Company Operations, ROAM, RIT, Calling the Mayday, SLICERS and Forcible entry. He is a member of the Kootenai County SWAT team, Idaho Technical Rescue Task Force, and North Idaho Training Officers division. Steve provides expert training insights, offers design feedback, and helps Taylor’d Prop customers maximize their training devices.
